Service Projects

The Durham Section remains steadfast in its dedication to local service initiatives, channeling efforts towards diverse projects to uplift our community. These include providing essential items such as coats, books, and nutritious snacks to students in Durham Public Schools; collaborating with the North Carolina Central University Collegiate Section to enhance feminine hygiene product drives; donating new and gently used children's books to The Playhouse Early Academy's summer day program; fulfilling needs directly from Families Moving Forward's Amazon Wish List; and distributing warm weather accessories like socks, gloves, hats, and snacks to the children of McDougald Terrace during the carbon monoxide leaks. Through these initiatives, the Durham Section demonstrates its unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the community it serves.
